I forgot Zelda!
Guess I should have put this in with "Castlevania", would have been a nice one-two promo CD combo, oh well. The title of this album is misleading, it's only 6 tracks at 13 minutes.

The first track is incredible. Thanks!

In fact, the whole CD is incredible. Thank you for the release!

hmm...I found another album on a VGM hub that was just like this album but had seven tracks (track 3 was "Ordon Village")...were these Japanese vs US releases of the same basic album?

ok, I figured out the difference. It's both North American crappy Nintendo of America promotional releases. The one I have is from a preorder for the guidebook and a year's subscription to Nintendo Power. It has seven tracks. ;;; the one released here at gamemp3s, however, is a CD that retail stores (like Target) are packaging with some other weird Zelda swag (a scaled-down sword and shield)...and it's the same album minus the third track, Ordon village, making only six songs. Stupidity, NoA, complete stupidity.

Or "technical oversight, NoA, a completely technical oversight."

I've got one that's a little bit longer that I've assembled myself... Godai, how would I get it to you? I've got 9 tracks at nearly 19 minutes.

Wonderful oh just wonderful, you've outdone yourselves again gamemp3, now I only wait for the full OST and then everything will come full circle =)
We need the full album NOW!!! Well... fine. You've got until it's actually released, but that's the final deadline. :p

Ramza: Looking a gift horse in the mouth are we? And besides, what difference does it make when the full album will be available in short order? Then every song *including* Ordon village will be there, and no one who's not buying or subscribing is going to care about the promotional albums one bit. People sure like to overcomplain about the most slightest of 'oversights'. If you have the 7-song compilation, please feel free to ignore the 6-song one. Your argument is getting kind of fickle, so please let the people sorely deprived of the Ordon Village track enjoy their other 6 songs in peace.

Your right it IS misleading... I'm to tell true REALLY disappointed. But I'm glad to see the word orchestral in one of the titles! After hearing it was going to be all MIDI I was kinda down.

animetayl: Six songs or seven songs, the promotional album is junk...and tell me more please about this full album that will soon be available...because to date there has been *no* mention of a full album. Yes, I am looking that gift horse in the mouth, and it's a terrible gift; I'm completely disappointed with NoA and their "Official Soundtrack"s.

I'm just saying you're getting pretty pissed over something that isn't such a big deal in the first place.
Um, wow. Stop complaining. You're getting this for free.

"Um, wow. Stop complaining. You’re getting this for free." -- I'm not complaining about Gamemp3s releasing it. My frustration, as I've pointed to numerous times, is with Nintendo of America. I own a copy of the seven-track CD, and I did *not* get the album for free. I paid $15 for it along with some other half-decent stuff. You're wrong to accuse me, gtfo.

Thx again for sharing some great piece of music - Thx

I agree with Ramza. I bought this last week at Target; the set was $40 and it came with this slipshod 6 tracks junk? All you playing the "you're getting it for free" nonsense are fools.

Any chance we can vote for a 10 classically arranged album release? Classical game music is my favorite, as I'm sure many of you can agree. Thanks again for the releases.

TOP 10 - Game Music Concert -The Best Selection- type stuff.

Don't expect an album any time soon... Just got an e-mail from Koji Kondo confirming that there are no plans for a release beyond the appendix in Nintendo Power and Nintendo Dream.
Any word on the release date of the complete album?
No word yet.
Hence what I said about there not being any plans. =P Am I invisible??

Yes.
