Darius Remix
Guilty Gear 2 Overture Original Soundtrack Vol.2
"Darius Remix" brings classic shmup tunes from "Darius" & "Darius II", remixed by the folks at SuperSweep and Basiscape (no Sakimoto, if that's what you were thinking).
Back to it's roots, "Vol.2" of "Guilty Gear 2 Overture" features a more familiar heavy rock sound, composed by series veteran Daisuke Ishiwatari, and arranged by Yoshihiro Kusano.
Full scans are available for both of these releases.

Hooray for Guilty Gear!
Speaking of it, is there anything that has the two new tracks that came from Accent Core?
Very YES!
Love all around. Will seed, etc.
Sorry, but where is the scans?...
@Johnny:
Which were those tracks? i.e. Where did they appear in the game?

I don't know what I would do without you gamemp3s! Darius Remix is by far the greatest VGM techno/trance music I've heard since the wonderful Wangan Midnight soundtracks! Awesome indeed! Thank you so much!
HELL YES! Thanks a lot.

What a better way to get people to buy your album by having a woman starting to strip on the cover. lol
comment #9
I totally missed the woman stripping. My attention was focused on the metal whale!

Yeah, me too, since I downloaded the Darius Remix part but not the Guilty Gear 2 part.
Well, I was disappointed but of course they had no chance of standing up to the originals (I have Darius Premium Box... I checked the releases and it seems Darius Remix is the only Darius release on this site FWIW). Actually I listened without checking the playlist, then looked at it because I kinda liked two of the tracks. Of course it turns out they were the Hosoe ones, lol.

The best soundtracks of te NEW year
i'm really enyoing Guilty Gear. It's one of the best i ever heard. Thank You
comment #12
Figured I'm well past overdue for a comment, so I wanted to drop by and say: great release, as usual! Digging both albums.
Thanks for the upload! Darius Remix is awesome, with Saso kicking the most ass out of them all. Basiscape seemed to be the overall weakest, but Namiki and Abe had some nice arrangements. Hosoe was pretty good, but nowhere near as strong as some of his other arrangements.
Hopefully, I can enjoy Vol. 2 of Guilty Gear 2. I didn't like Vol. 1 at all.

@aldeayeah:
1. Launch Out, the opening BGM.
2. Keep The Flag Flying, Order Sol vs. Ky
I have no idea if they were released on a OST or single of sorts.

Boss Scene VII finally arranged by pros! Thanks!
just found there's no more "direct http" download link?
can it be provided sometime?
Great release, as always. I'm especially loving Darius Remix. ^_^
Thanks!
The Darius Remix album is fantastic. Thanks guys.
Awesome release!
I'm also wondering where to retrieve the scans from?
As I probably mention in every release comments section...
Scans can be found by going to the "releases" page, then clicking the "album scans" filter link on the right side bar which, of course, filters the release list by those which have scans available. The link for the scans is beside the name of the album on the right side.

Excellent albums, particularly the Darius Remix. Didn't expected anything from SuperSweep so soon, so it was quite a pleasant surprise.
As usual, thanks for letting us plunder this lovely treasure chest of a site~

Mario Galaxy where are thou?
where's Lost Odyssey's soundtrack?!
For the amazing Lost Odyssey soundtrack, since this site doesn't bother with it.
mod edit: Do not post links like these in the comments. I sacrifice a lot of time for these albums, your sass is not appreciated.

Wow, Sanya. It just came out yesterday. You obviously haven't been here much, have you? They go through rigorous efforts to bring these soundtracks to us. They NEVER release them on the day they are released. It usually takes a week or so. Plus, I'm sure they've been really busy as of late!
Hahaha, yeah, no need to be a douche about it.
(Anyway, I downloaded from that link and searched out the password -- it's "rpgmm", for anyone else who's interested -- and... do you actually think the soundtrack is that good? Seems pretty standard fare to me. Well, to each his or her own.)
Why does the arranger, Yoshihiro Kusano, get the artist credit in the tags when Daisuke Ishiwatari is the composer? Seems an odd & improper choice.
Arranger always gets artist credit on our releases.
