Isolated Island Consigned to Oblivion

Something tonight for all the Falcom fans. Ys Premium Music CD Box in Felghana features eight(!) discs of Falcom Sound Team jdk goodness.

In addition, we have the promo album from the latest game - Ys Seven Orignal Soundtrack Mini. Special thanks go out to Andvari for hooking us up with that.

Edit: Download the re-released Ys Seven above.

Heh. What cool timing. A few months ago I placed an order with Nihon Falcom for Ys VII (PSP), Ys I&II Chronicles (PSP), and Ys VI (PC - now that an English fan patch is available). Given that Ys VII had not yet been released earlier in the summer, they confirmed that they'd ship everything out together by Sept. 17th, which they apparently did, since I was very surprised to see a rather large package from Japan arrive in my NY office this past Monday. I was even more surprised to see that beyond the three games I had ordered, they had included a whopping FOUR bonus discs. One of them was this Ys VII Original Sound Track Mini. The others were Ys VII: Ys Musicy History, Ys I&II Best Sound Collection, and Ys I&II Chronicles Original Soundtrack Mini. I've yet to actually rip the discs and add them to my iPod, but... Oh, and that premium box monstrosity. That's the same one that came with my Ys Oath in Felghana preorder a few years back, no?

Wow, some nice releases lately, thanks gamp3s crew, and thanks to Andvari for sharing with the team.

I'm not familiar with Ys (or much any other game referenced here on the site), but it looks interesting. Gonna check it out. Thanks again!

Also, the Ys Seven cover doesn't look very Ys at all. Looks more like Dissidia.

The Ys Seven cover makes it look like a hot-blooded action fest that I want to play.
