Green Memories
Four albums for you tonight. Two new, two not so much.
First, we go old school with the Chrono Trigger Original Sound Track featuring Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. Then, we have the Rumble Roses XX Original Soundtrack. It's a great album with work from a variety of people such as dj TAKA, Norihiko Hibino, Sota Fujimori, Akira Yamaoka, and more. Next, it's the much requested Uncharted 2 - Among Thieves Original Soundtrack with great orchestra music by Greg Edmonson. Finally, we have the Valkyria Chronicles 2 Gallian Royal Military Academy Original Soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto.

I take it this Chrono Trigger soundtrack has a higher overall bitrate? I mean you guys have released the darn thing before.
I already had the Uncharted 2 soundtrack, but my version of the soundtrack is missing the last three songs in #gamemp3s version. So, thanks for that!
Rumble Roses features Norihiko Hibino AND Akira Yamaoka? Sign me up!
Thanks again mp3team.

Welp, here it is: the CT re-encode. I suppose C:SotN and ICO are up for redux as well?
(Thanks!)
lurker: This isn't a re-encode. The Chrono Trigger album is music from the DS version of the game released last summer.
Good stuff. I already have uncharted 2 and VC2 but they are very nice even if VC2 is very similar to VC1 ost.
Very much appreciated.

Thanks for this release. Just a question - so far I've been unable to properly download this torrent. It shows "problem connecting to tracker -not a gzipped file". Anyone know how to bypass this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Guildenstern: Not sure what client you're using, but switch to Utorrent if you're not already on it.
Msia: thank you for your quick reply. I usually used BitTornado, which never presented problems until this one occasion. Anyway, I downloaded Utorrent and it's working wonders.
The option for checking whole folders makes things quite confortable.
Well, thanks again. And my apologies for always adding weird ass questions/requests to my comments...

Thank you much for this fine release gamemp3# crew!
Will be loving Uncharted 2 and suffering from glorious nostalgia with Chrono Trigger.

An interesting note with regard to the Chrono Trigger soundtrack, four of the extra tracks that were in the PSX version have different names than the ones in the PSX Music Box menu.
320 One Sunny Day... in this 'DS' release was Time to Rest... on the PSX
321 Scattering... was One Sunny Day...
322 A Meeting... was Scattering Blossoms, and
323 Time to Rest... was A Meeting...
http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Music_%28Chrono_Trigger%29.html#Chrono_Trigger_-_Extra_Tracks has some recordings of the PSX songs to verify there names at that time.
I admit I don't have the DS version; for any who do, may I ask you to check if there is a sound menu, and to see if track names listed on this 'DS' OST match the names in game, or do they match the PSX ones?

Gonna go Back in Time! Great for the CT OST! Thanks a lot!

Chrono Trigger... Why did shit-stained Chrono Cross have to ruin it? I'll be piss-bitter about that for the rest of my sad life.
Thanks for sharing.
I don't get it: how does one game ruin another game? I mean, I've never heard anyone say Godfather Part III ruins the first two. They're separate entities. Anyway, CT is rather unique in that it manages to be incredibly overrated in every single facet imaginable... but still pretty good. Thanks, I think I'll check out the arranges.

@ JAG
Here's how one game ruins another. First, kill off the main cast from the first game in vague, inexplicable but un-entertaining ways. Second, bring back the main boss you spent so much time trying to kill in the first game in vague, inexplicable but un-entertaining ways. Third, make everything you did in the first game completely pointless (not just cuz it's a video game). Throw in character design, battle mechanics, and music that is nothing like the first game, and you have one big middle finger directed right at fans of CT. Also, the ending to CC is the biggest shit-stain on earth.
You think you can just forget about it, but the stories are connected. Every time you play CT, you'll always be reminded that after the game's over, it all goes downhill. A perfect memory from your childhood is forever ruined by a genital wart. Separate entities? No sir. FF7 and 8 are separate entities. Even if one sucks, the other could still be good on it's own. CC is the deformed younger brother of CT that follows him around and bites the nutsack of anyone who approaches. Your only hope to fully enjoy CT is to never play CC. Pretend it doesn't exist, and the ball-pain won't affect you. It's too late for me. I'll never enjoy CT as much as I used to.
BTW, there's nothing impressive about that other comment. Everything's overrated in every blah blah blah if you think hard enough.
Meh, I liked both CT and CC.
They should have included RD in with CTDS though.
