Wow, the Opoona soundtrack! That's one of my favorites, and certainly deserves checking out, so thanks for pushing it with these other awesome tidings! I kinda wish the sanodg tracks on the Persona 3 album didn't have the radio drama talking over them, but I'll take what I can get from him. :)

Thanks for this you guys, and have happy new year!

Anyway, I have opoona, 3rd Birthday and Radiant Historia in the mail, but I heard the new Sonic should be quite good. Going to take a listen.

Thanks as always! :)

null: I saw that last night after I posted the release and its not ours. Some terrible 320 kbps rip that Rdeath loser stole from somewhere else.

You ever diligent gentlemen never cease to amaze me. 'opoona' has me intrigued. My folder of full OSTs in need of assortment keeps it's rampant growth. Not like that's a bad thing.
Well, a most prosperous 2011 for the #gamemp3s crew!

I checked out the legend of heroes ost earlier. Surprisingly, I wasn't very impressed. It's good because it's falcom, and that's the rule, but it doesn't beat sora no kiseki the 3rd.

As for Persona 3, how many albums of music from this specific game do we need? I've had enough of burn my dread, everyone's souls, and whatever else. For that, I'll pass.

I am looking forward to that sonic one, though I haven't played the game. You can usually count on sonic to have good music, even if the gameplay is abysmal. Although I hear sonic colours is actually good.

So thanks for the release, happy new year, and kill all humans.

Yeah I'm not Rdeath I just wanna clarify that as well to clear up any confusion on blaming me on it. I saw that happen with Gran Turismo 5, I'm not the one who claimed to have made the rip. It was Rdeath who is at http://www.nautiljon.com/ost/tj.html who re-edits and claims the tags.

Thanks for clarifying that Hinkuto. I went back and modified the original post edit to point this new information out. Sorry for the false accusations.

Gotta double comment.

First of all, opoona is so awesome. I can't get over how damn good it is. Second, Radiant Historia sucks. I can't get over how bad it is.

But the real shock is 3rd Birthday. Not so much the soundtrack, although it is amazing. I'm talking about the title: 3rd birthday... Sure you don't mean PARASITE EVE 3? wtf

I know it's my fault for not keeping up with news about VG releases, but what the hell kind of title is 3rd birthday? Is there any reason not to call it Parasite Eve 3 or PE3 or PE3: the 3rd birthday or PE: the 3rd birthday or 3rd birthday -PE3-? How about any title that includes the name of the game series it's continuing?

Imagine final fantasy 14 was called Goblin Ghosts instead. You'd think it's some kind of spinoff of Ghouls n' Ghosts or Ghosts n' Goblins, whatever the Capcom series is called. Well, when I hear the title "3rd birthday," I don't think PE3. I don't anything. When I find out about the connection, I think that's bullcrap.

And you know what? I don't even care what the reason for the title is. It doesn't matter if there's some obvious parallel from the previous two games that any fan would get; calling it 3rd birthday is so obscure that you would never guess that it's part of PE without doing research. Call the AVGN, 'cause this title is even dumber than calling Rocky 6 Rocky Balboa.

Still, awesome soundtrack. Thanks again.

Sonic Colors is an okay soundtrack sfried but it's not the best sonic soundtrack in the world the vocal tracks were disapointing and did not fit sonic at all. Now I'm not hating on the soundtrack i do like some tracks on the game but i just don't see how it's suppose to be the best sonic soundtrack in the universe. I think Crush 40 needs to do more sonic music like in the old days.

The reason it's called the 3rd birthday is because they decided to not continue with the novel copyrights this time. Okay, it's a lame decision no doubt.

@Mieu
Copyright bullshit? Figures that would have to play a part. It's just as well. As far as I'm concerned, PE2 was bad enough for me to stop caring about the series for good. Resident Evil clones for the win.

I've never played the game, but I just feel like saying that Opoona's soundtrack is unlike anything I've heard before. It's like a mix of PSO and Final Fantasy. I'm in love with the track "ancient ruins." Beautiful shit.
