Dr Schrödinger, tell me please? (Mikoto's Theme)

We're back again with more music for you to enjoy this weekend.

Kicking things off is a nice set of western albums. Darksiders II Original Soundtrack features new music from Jesper Kyd and the Guild Wars 2 Original Game Soundtrack clocks in with four discs of new tunes by Jeremy Soule. After that is a double dose of music for Persona fans. Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena Original Arrange Soundtrack CD with arrangements by Toshiki Konishi and Atsushi Kitajoh while the Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena Original Soundtrack contains music from Shoji Meguro, Atsushi Kitajoh, and new vocal songs with Yumi Kawamura and Shihoko Hirata.

We also have two newer Square-Enix arrange albums. ReBirth II Romancing SaGa Battle Arrange with new arrangements from the series by Kenji Ito and the Secret of Mana Genesis Seiken Densetsu 2 Arrange Album with Hiroki Kikuta of course. Following up that is the Sekaiju no MeiQ 4 denshou no kyoshin Original Soundtrack now with 100% fixed cover and the Sekaiju no MeiQ 4 denshou no kyoshin Super Arrange Version with great arrangements from Noriyuki Kamikura, Masashi Hamauzu, Ryo Yonemitsu, Yukihiro Jindo, c.l.o.u.d., KPLECRAFT, and with Haruka Shimotsuki and Anemone on vocals. Wrapping up this release is the Time Travelers Original Soundtrack featuring the music of Hideki Sakamoto and vocal performances by Sarah Alainn, yanaginagi, Rie Ojima, Satsy, Haruko Aoki, and Rumi Shishido.

Very weird hearing a sax solo in the middle of a chiptune remix of an already jazzy battle tune. Very, very nice to see the legendary Yonemitsu still alive though! Awesome update, guys!

Whoa, #gamemp3s crew... you guys are immense! A remarkable release set here, a first-rate array, an impressive cluster. I pine to take your shared sonic trove and stimulate my cochlean mechanoreceptors. #gamemp3s gang, you re-sexify my brain, and I make earnest supplication to utter my gratitude.

On a scale from 1 to must have, how good is the time travelers ost? I know very little about the game so far.

What's the difference between this release's Sekaiju no MeiQ 4 OST and the one in the 2012-07-28 torrent? They have different covers but the tracks seem to be the same.

Dan: The one in this release has the correct cover. The older one does not. Only the cover was changed and nothing else.

Steve: Nobody from the team got this so it's unlikely we will release it.

Are there scans for Seka QIV Arrange? I'm interested in seeing who played on the album.

Great release--I was looking forward to some titles and pleasantly surprised by others.

Any plans to release the Rockman 1~10 “Rockcan” music collection?

XISM: We don't provide scans anymore. Maybe someone will upload them to VGMDB or somewhere in the future.

Moobire: I'm not going to comment anymore on future releases. Just assume we aren't.

Thought you liked being freaky with the covers, Msia? Like with the 7th Dragon OST. :)

Anyway, fucktons of graciousness for sharing.

Out of curiosity, where did the "incorrect cover" from the 7/28 release come from? It looks just as official as this one: it has the same logo and the same characters, and even the same icon in the upper-right corner. Is it just some sort of alternate cover included within the album itself, or is it a very well-made fan creation?

comment posted by Burnside on 16 September

Burnside: It was the cover they chose before going to produce the album, but I guess they decided to change it at the last minute. This happens sometimes (see NieR OST) and I just missed it this time.

Great stuff, just a little nitpicking on the tags. Why use album artist "various artists" for guild wars 2 when only ONE track out of the entire album is NOT from Jeremy Soule? Wouldn't it make sense to just have the album artist say Jeremy Soule? I typically use album artist for the best known composer on the album if he wrote a lot of the music.

Album artist is important when you are dealing with software like Zune because that is what you find it under in the artist list.
