@strugglepoo, Ragnarok Online II Original Sound Track. Other highlights would be Baroque, Best of Thunder Force, Lumines remixes winter, milestone, Trusty Bell, and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3.

Is it safe for me to take all my folders from 2007 (I still have them in their original release folders) dump them in a folder and help seed this?

comment posted by Naka on 02 November

@Naka, yes, this torrent has everything that is currently available in 2007* torrents. It also includes albums from torrents that are no longer on the tracker, so you might have a few holes.

I think 2007 was the year I initially came across you guys. Can't tell you how many times I came. To the site, I mean!

:) - FFXI Premium Box, Granado Espada Vol. 1, Mushihimesama Futari, Odin Sphere, Sekaiju no MeiQ, Soul Cradle, Sora no Kiseki the 3rd, WMMT3 and Ys Origin.

:( - Subarashiki Kono Sekai.

It shames me how many albums in this torrent I have yet to listen to.

Does this archive contain the few fixes/updates released during 2007, or do we need to go back and grab those separately?

comment posted by Coda on 02 November

Coda: They're included. It's all here in one torrent.

Also +1 to Granado Espada Original Sound Track Volume 1. Game of the forever~

I have already fallen madly in love with Magical Trick Society. Please tell me you guys released more of their stuff.

Good stuff here, I love how the people listing favorites so far have so few duplicates!

My favorites are definitely Extra Official Compilation (biggest surprise album I've ever heard), Karous (not a Milestone or drum 'n bass fan but this is amazing so two wrongs can make a right), and Senko no Ronde vol2 (one of my favorite albums ever). And if you haven't heard them otherwise: Outrun box and the Yuzo Koshiro collections.

Granado Espada and Ragnarok Online II are both sensational soundtracks, absolutely amazing. It's a real shame that the RO2 soundtrack didn't include every track that was composed by Yoko Kanno, but this is one intense game soundtrack regardless.

Thanks for the torrent, was looking for a lot of the albums in here. I really appreciate the FFXI Premium Box and also the Assassin Creed albums. I grabbed a few others too :) Thanks again!

Many thanks Msia.

I really wish you guys has time to revive the old A-Z archives from before 2007. I had everything, then lost them and the backup 3 years ago and have been slowly regaining everything I lost since 2009... =P

Masterzophar: It would be difficult to do and I have enough trouble just getting new releases together. Maybe we can do something in the future, but right now we just don't have the bandwidth.

Thanks for the torrent! Amazing.
One question though. Did the albums originally have no artwork when they were uploaded 5 years ago on this site?

comment posted by JJ on 07 November

JJ: Yes we didn't start including album art until 2008. Lost Odyssey and NMH was the first release to have it.

Msia very understandable and not a problem. You do what the hand deals you. ^_^

Sorry to bug you again, Msia, a quick question about the origArtist tag you told me about earlier. What's the #gamemp3s standard form for them? I've seen "Arrange: *arranger*" and "Remix: *remixer*" so far. Any others? Just need to be clear for tagging, you know how it goes. ;)

Hi Adam,

When we have a song that has a vocalist, composer, and arranger/remixer who are all different, we use the Orig. Artist tag to store the arranger or remixer.

I believe that's the only quirky thing we do with respect to our tags. I was hoping at some point to put together a tagging guide and review it internally with the team and then share with the public. But that's a project for a different day I guess :)

I'm sure many will derive great pleasure from such a guide! I've pretty adopted and appropriated #gamemp3s standards as my own, generally. Thank you.

comment posted by Adam on 09 November

Likewise. By all means get around to it whenever you get around to it, but I think a tagging guide would be a big deal for a lot of people, myself included.

Thanks for the torrent.

Hey guys, thanks so much for this blast from the past!

Just a quick questions. I've added this torrent and pointing it to my directory, and I got 98.5% (I only had 2 missing albums). It started to download 50KB/s and upload 20KB/s but after about a minute it said Access Denied (uTorrent). I clicked "force start" and it started again but then after a minute I got the same error. Any ideas?

Thanks heaps! :D

Thank you, thank you very much! I've been hoping so much for this. And I see I'm not the only one praying for some kind of A-Z re-release, that would really be a dream coming true. You people do a wonderful job. Thank you.
