Thank you, Yuzo Koshiro (hmmm old days/memories).

BTW: any chance with The Last Of Us.

Not to be a stickler, but I thought we were going to be getting more frequent releases now? Instead of 20 every couple months, I thought it was gonna be more like one a week or at least every week and a half or so.

The other reason I was wondering about this, was because in the site update post you made it sound like you were amassing a backlog of soundtracks.

I know it's all volunteer work, and I do appreciate it alot, but I love new music and I'd love to see more :)

That's the goal, whether or not it's worked or will work is debatable. There are a number of reasons why releases are slow:

- We buy and rip everything we release. We don't just post download links of albums we find somewhere else. Anyone can do that.
- We have pretty stringent standards on translations for tracklists and album titles. I've had Fire Emblem ripped and ready to release but that tracklist can go fuck itself, so it sits until we have the time to really work on it.
- We have real lives and other priorities. This is a hobby for us, after all.

Thank you all so much! Wasn't interested in this OST until I read Yuzo Koshiro.

Now I'm interested in the game too =p

Keep it up with the awesomeness.

How stringent are your encoding standards? Is there anything more specific than what's listed in the general FAQ (is that up to date)? I ask because I intend to re-rip my CD collection and would like to match #gamemp3s quality as closely as possible.

Thank you very much! I'm still don't know if I should buy this game or let it pass, there are a lot of good releases this weeks...

Pretty sure you don't want to use MP3, @Moobire. Nero AAC at q0.5 is transparent for me (I've done plenty of blind testing) and usually not more than 192kbps average bitrate.

Let's not derail this into a format war. You can use whatever you want, really. We use mp3 because it's the most popular and it's legacy.
