The fantastic soundtrack to the new Super Mario 3D World game for Wii U. Mahito Yokota's translated comments in the European release say it better than I can:

"I've always thought that big band tunes would work really well in a Super Mario Bros. game. But if every track featured a big band arrangement, I think it would ultimately be a bit over the top, and the soundtrack would just be too raucous. That's when we came up with a simple rule to follow: we'd make music that was enjoyable to listen to using just a few instruments, centered around trumpet and sax, without limiting ourselves to any specific genre."

Unfortunately, this is a Nintendo Club points only soundtrack so if you're interested in purchasing it, you'll have to find one on a third party site like eBay or Yahoo! Japan. Happy hunting!
