Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward Original Soundtrack

-Album Details-

Title: Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward Original Soundtrack
Publisher: Square Enix Music
Catalog Number: SQEX-20025
Release Date: February 24th, 2016
Ripped by: dancey

3.0 and 3.1 patch for Final Fantasy XIV, including two bonus tracks performed by the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra for the Chinese release of A Realm Reborn. Hopefully I didn't mess something up this time. Same process as all the other Bluray rips --> MakeMKV --> 96/16 WAV using foobar --> 44.1/16 using ssrc --> mp3. The 2 bonus tracks are Dolby 5.1 and thus had to be converted to Stereo but I was able to do that in VLC's conversion module.

btw for anyone wondering why bluray indexes are stupid, here is why:

Those had to be manually titled and had to open every single one and ff to each chapter to find the song name, then write it down, then figure out if it was a duplicate or not. repeat til the end.

Likewise, much respect to you for the massive undertaking that ripping newer FF soundtracks seems to be becoming. At least each one appears to have a wealth of music! Looking forward to listening to the new bangin choons.

Ah I was wondering if this would ever get a soundtrack. Such great music in this (awesome) expansion.

I don't claim that this is the right way but it works for us. I think I said in one of the original posts I'm not going to just host the 320 kbps zipped mp3s that are on the discs. I haven't been able to notice a significant difference in quality or any issues, though, so it's good "enough". As always, we strive for quality but if you want better you should buy it ;)

Wow that looks like a lot of effort to process the index. Thank you for your efforts, as always.
